Sharing Sorrow

In January, we said goodbye to two influential Menominee women who were educators with me when I started at MIMS. I needed to make cards for their families and designed this:

My gram loved purple and the book, "When I Am an Old Lady, I Shall Wear Purple." These two women were the epitome of living a full life on their own terms.  Purple seemed like the perfect color palette.

To color the flowers, I used my Wisteria Wonder Marker over the image inked in Blackberry Bliss. The centers are Crushed Curry.

Happy Creativity!
