Today, I want to show you more about the projects I made as well as show you the template for the card box.
First, I stamped the insides of the cards and want to share how awesome they looked:
Maybe not too awesome, but pretty. The sentiments in the Flourishing Phrases stamp set are pretty perfect:
"Words can't express just how deeply your love and support has been appreciated."
"Praying that your heart will be lifted by the many loving thoughts that surround you today."
"Good thing you get to bring your best friend along."
My Stampin' Celebrations crew will be happy to have insides of the cards with sweet sentiments!
The card fronts:
I used the main flower and embossed in Whisper White. I thought I was sooooo creative in my plan, but then realized that Stampin' Up! artists had already tried this on their blog. Really, I thought it was my idea. Great minds think alike!
The sponge rollers were easy to use. I didn't switch the roller between colors and it wasn't a problem. In fact, it made the colors blend better! I don't know which one I love more!
Now, the finale--the card portfolio!
1. Begin with an 8 1/2 by 8 1/2 square piece of cardstock. (I used shimmery white).
2. Using the Envelope Punch Board, score and punch at 3 1/2. Slide the paper to the left and score at 4 1/8. Punch again.
3. Rotate 90 degrees and then line up the pointy part on each previous score line and score and punch again.
4. Repeat to go all the way around the box.
5. Punch the corners of the flaps.
6. Cut off the little squares.
7. Tape the two side flaps to the third flap.
My belly band is a 1 1/4" strip of Peekaboo Peach on which I attached a bouquet of flourishes!
I hope you enjoyed my projects!
Happy Creating!
Sara
