Stampin' Addicts Occasions Blog Hop Recap and Recipes: Party Animal Suite

Why another post on the same topic? To give you more details and pictures and tips. We try to keep the Blog Hop short and sweet, but I always have more to say!

Again, here are my projects:

The photo booth props are simple, but I like the look with just a few add-ons.

I found that the best pen to use to trace the prop outline onto my paper was my Project Life Journaling pen. The tip could get in the small spaces, like between the lips. I used modge podge to adhere the Party Animal Designer Series Paper to the wooden props.

The tag on the bag was the first project I created, so I had trouble limiting my supplies! I always do with new products.  In the end, though, I love how it turned out.

Can you see my mistake? We all make them. I have two on the tag- I didn't stamp the Open Me Already well the first time. Since Balloon Adventures is a Photopolymer Set, I could restamp. I was a millimeter off, but it still looks cool. I also smudged a bit.

And the slider card:

I always love Stampin' Up!'s accents, but I have trouble using them on cards that might be mailed. I'm going to want to see the reaction of the kid who opens this card, so it will not be mailed. I also made sure the good luck elephant was visible when I placed the balloons.

Pulled out:
I used layers of washi tape to accent the sentiment and added confetti to the background. This card had to be over the top and I think I achieved that for sure.

The bottom balloon came as a realization, I would want to write something, so needed some space to do so!

I used Julie Davison's Video Tutorial for a guide, but used the classic label punch for the inside track instead of the word window punch. It worked great.

Anyway, I am in love with this concept and set. I think I should make more!

Since everything is coordinate in this post, I am posting one product showcase, as I pretty much used everything on everything. Enjoy!

Happy Stamping!
