So, in honor of her love of the Garden Girl, I am sharing this card today:
I used my Watercolor Pencils and an Aquapainter to color. The girl and bunny were stamped first, and used the masking technique to get the fence behind. That means that I stamped my image on a post-it note and then cut it out. I placed it so it covered my stamped image of the girl. I then stamped the fence. The part of the fence the girl is blocking stamped onto my post it note, so it wasn't on my paper. Clear as mud?
For the "ribbon" I punched a Real Red piece with the Decorative Ribbon Border Punch and then sewed Whisper White Bakers Twine through the large circles. The Happy Birthday is from Happy Birthday Gorgeous.
Clare also used the masking technique on her picture:
The fence curves...on purpose. She was proud of getting the birds on the fence "perfectly."
Pretty cute, huh?
