My Paper Pumpkin June 2017: Once in Melon

On July 4th, I spent my crafty part of my day playing with June's My Paper Pumpkin. (which I got a week late. Make sure your credit card isn't expired on your account if you want it on time). I went to town!

First, the projects from the kit with some cute extra products.

I needed some party favors, so I took the cute bag (it hurt to cut into it) and made a little band for the bottom of the 3 x 6" gussetted bag. I then added a doily and a watermelon for a topper. I filled them swedish fish as they are my favorite. The other is a water bottle tag to go with some lemonade packets. I cut the notecards in half and then punched a hole in the white side and folded over a 1/2 inch. I used a stapler to attach the the sweet watermelon with a half doily. I made it tight enough to hold the drink packets.

Next, I made this scrapbook page:

This is a day I spent with Clare two years ago. We took a walk to the local park. She wanted to "just put her feet in the water." I knew that would lead to her swimming in her party dress, but let her. Bubba had to rescue us with a towel. Great memories.

Finally, I made some cards out of the materials left.

I love the watermelon theme, so made mini watermelon notecards and a pineapple card!

Seriously, this is like a gift of fun each month I give myself for 19.95. I love opening the box, seeing what's inside and just creating. Join me!

Happy Stamping!
