Cuppa Joe Birthday Card

I love coffee. I drink it daily, but I really love it. When I'm stressed out in my classroom, I often stop and take a drink. It pauses me and I can regroup. Plus, caffeine. What coffee lover wouldn't appreciate this card?

This card was created so that you could slip a little instant coffee pouch behind the cup, but I didn't have any to use in this photo.

I love layering the graphic nature of this paper with blocks of color. Visually appealing, I think. I stamped the sentiment on Pool Party and cut it with the framelits. The cup lid is out of glossy, so in real life, it looks shiny. The rest was just adhering layers. Easy and cute.

My Stampin' Group created these cards this month:

Easy and Cute Pumpkin Favors

I'm sitting here eating fresh from the oven roasted pumpkin seeds on my first day off all school year and am ticking items off my to do list one by one. One of those items is to share some of the projects I've made recently with you all. So, CHECK! another thing off my list!

For those of us who get very few trick or treaters, a little gift is often more fun to hand out. I had a bunch of little test tubes from a school project that I thought would make great tic tac holders:

However, I haven't bought any tic tac's yet! I used a little strip of the Autumn Harvest Designer Series Paper as a band around the middle, a little Crushed Curry Mini-Chevron Ribbon tied in a knot and a Pumpkin tag from the Seasonal Chums Stamp Set. I used my Many Marvelous Markers to color a fun Jack-o-lantern and Voila! a cute and easy treat container.

Happy Halloween!

Inking Up the Season Smitten Mitten Recap

Wasn't that a great hop? I love My Inky Friends!

I have the supply lists and details for the projects I made using Smitten Mittens for today's post. Enjoy!

My mitten card is one of the favorites I have ever made. I just want to hug it.

There is no surprise or hard work here. Just embossing, big shot cutting, and stamping. All fun and all easy. But WOW does it look glamorous!

The Tags and Pizza Box are the cutest! It was fun to mix and match the cut mittens and embellishments.

Each mitten was created with two layers- one Whisper White and one out of the Designer Series paper. I added some pearls, some facet gems and layers of stamped and die cut images. I had no plan, just a bunch of stuff on my table and I put it all together.

I hope you had fun! Happy Stamping! Sara
