Welcome to the Lily Ink Pad stop of the
My Inky Friends Hidden Gems Blog Hop where we are featuring stamp sets we think are "hidden gems" from the Annual Catalog. I've chosen projects using Five For All Stamp Set. But, first, did you come from
Shelley's projects featuring Sprinkles of Life? I love that set and am so glad Stampin' Up! kept it around an extra year! If you are hopping backwards, you came from
Cindy's Birthday Blossoms blog post. Birthdays all around!
My first project features the sentiment as a focal point.
"Happy Birthday to an equally overqualified and underpaid coworker....We have a lot in common." A funny card for a fun coworker! The bonus is this card is a quick and easy! Perfect for busy winter days! I used the Picture Perfect Designer Series paper for a background and added some bling in the form of Tutti Frutti Sequins and Myths and Magic Glimmer Paper. I also used the Ticket Tear Punch to create my own paper ribbon.
Next up, is a card that uses the Tutti Frutti Cards and Envelopes, which are a FREE Sale-a-bration item:
The card front says, "Is this the birthday when you start asking Life's Big Questions?"... and the inside says, "like WHY did I walk into this room?" To be cheeky, I used the question mark from the Letters for You Photopolymer Stamp set in Lemon Lime Twist, Pool Party, and Island Indigo.
My final card uses a sentiment from the Five for all set for the inside saying of the card. The front is other stamps!
I used the sneakers from Epic Celebrations as my focal point and added some fun with the Bubbles and Fizz Designer Series Paper punched out with the Starburst Punch. I added some Basics Pack 3 Washi tape and some background stamping fun. The inside matches along with the sentiment: Happy Birthday to a Funny, Beautiful, and Smart person. I love this combination!
Happy Stamping!
